Thieves Write With Lip-stick. ! SYDNEY, January 2. i With a lipstick thieves wrote on the dressing table mirror in the home of Mr E. Pryke. Shaw’s Avenue, North Bexley, last night the words: ‘‘Thanks for the Christmas present. Wish you a Happy- New Year. Ever been had?” Pry-ke found the message when he returned home. He also discovered that clothing, jewellery, money and six bottles of whisky- had been stolen. Several other homes in the vicinityhad been entered. Later the police arrested three boys, two aged 15 and the other 16, on charges of housebreaking.
