ARBITRATION ACT.
Labour to Make National Move. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. This Day. An official of the Trades and Labour Council said to-day- that it was intended to push forw-ard and request the Government for an amendment to the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, providing for compulsory arbitration. A national move would be made and probably- would be undertaken within the next few weeks.
