Rain Spoils Excursions to Seaside. Light but steady rain this morning prevented any rush to take advantage of the Tramway Board’s cheap fares to the seaside boroughs. The new rates were operative from to-day and will remain in force during the primary school holidays. The cheap tickets will be available on Sundays as well as week days and arrangements have been made for extra cars to cope with any rush that might develop.
