HANDEL’S “MESSIAH.”

Handel's “ Messiah ” will be performed'b ya large choir of over 100 voices in the Durham Street Methodist Church next Saturday, under the conductorship of Mr Victor Peters, with Mr Melville Lawry at the organ. The choir is a strong and well-balanced combination, consisting of members of the Oxford Terrace Baptist and the Durham Street Methodist Church choirs, assisted by members of the Harmonic Society and others. The soloists are well known and thoroughly experienced in oratorio. The public are urged to secure tickets early from the mufiic warehouses or from members of the chorus.
