MODEL YACHTING.
Tlie Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the ninth club race of the season on Saturday at Victoria Lake. There was a very light northerly breeze. Eight boats competed: Following are results,—First heat: E. Hodge's Kea (hep. smin 50se.e). 1; C. White’s Rea Breeze (3min lOsec) 2; D. Irvine’s Irene IT., 4min 50sec, 3: S M’Kenzie'.s Oeo, 6min, 4; W. Beauchamp’s’ Avenger, 7min 20sec, 5. Time—--3 4 7. mip. Second heat—Oeo 1, Avenger 2 Kea 3 Irene 11. 4. Time—3slmin. The final result was: Kea (1! points) 1; Oeo (30 points) 2; Avenger (6 points)
