POWER BOATING.

Races Held On Estuary To-day. Eighteen boats competed in the Christchurch Sailing and Power Boat Club's combined class race, on the estuary today. The start was at 3.15 in a light easterly, and on a making tide. The course was twico to Skylark and once Rita (R. Beveridge) did best on the first run up to Skylark, and at the tripod the first time round led Fidget by 45sec, with Gadfly about 30«ec further back. Results: Rita (R. Beveridge) 1, Fidget (E. Morrison) 2, Tiki (T. Turner) 3, Treasure (W. Webb) 4.
