Man Sentenced for Theft of Cycle. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, This Day. Frederick Owen Murch, who by his evidence in the Hamilton Supreme < ourt recently saved an innocent man from connection with a charge of burglary, appeared in the Police Court this morning to answer four charges. The police stated that Murch had i spent twelve months touring the North and South Islands and had left a trail of crime from the North Cape to the Bluff. Accused was convicted and discharged for conversion and the theft of two cycles. On a charge of theft of another cycle he was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment, sentence to be concurrent with the two and a half years he is now serving at Auckland.
