CHILD EXPELLED.
Undesirable Alien, Says Yugoslavia. I LONDON, December &. A message from Budapest states that the Hungarian Government has ordered Herr Eckhardt, its chief delegate at Geneva, to report to the League of Nations on the expulsion of Hungarians from Yugoslavia. A Belgrade message states that Yugoslavia decided upon expulsion of Hungarians independently of the frontier agreement between Hungary and Yugoslavia. Many expulsion orders have been revoked and notice extended, but it is admitted that 1500 Hungarians have crossed the frontier. The Budapest correspondent of “The Times” says: “The expulsion continues wholesale. No allowance is made for age or infinity. “Judith Varossy, aged four years, had lived with her grandparents, .who are Yugoslav subjects, since her father s death, her mother being unable to support her. “A warrant was served on the cnua ordering her expulsion as an undesirable alien from the viewpoint of the State’s security. No relative was allowed to accompany her. A board was affixed to the child’s clothing bearing her name and her mother s address.”
