United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CANBERRA, December 3. It was officially stated to-day, regarding the recent trade conference with the Right Hon J. G. Coates and the Hon R. Masters, that, although the conference failed to reach agreement generally, the discussions had been most friendly and the door was still open for further discussions in the future. The question of subsidised shipping in the Pacific would again be discussed next week.
