Dear Sir,—Many people would be glad to buy last season’s jams of all kinds at these Christmas fairs. The ladies of St George’s and other fairs could make a quantity of green gooseberry jam for sale, as it is cheap to make .and everyone likes it, but no one has gardens in the city areas, and think, too, of those in flats who would buy if notified in the daily newspapers I am. etc., HOME MADE.
