A Freak Flower.
A N unusual freak in flora is growing in the garden of a Kelvin Road, Invercargill, resident, where a foxglove in full bloom displays at its apex a flower resembling a single dahlia with a growth in the centre like the seed pod of a Shirley poppy, states the “ Southland News.” All the other blossoms along the stem are of natural development.
