Annual Cash Fixture Held. RIDER BREAKS COLLARBONE. The annual meeting of the Rakaia Athletic and Cycling Club was held today in fine weather. A well-varied programme of running, cycling and dancing attracted a large number of Christchurch competitors. including the 220 yards South Island champion, BillrlifF, and the South Island cycling champion, W. Good, of New Brighton The cycling and running tracks were in good order, but there was a considerable amount of dust. L. G. Fleming fell in the second heat of the two-mile Rakaia Wheel Race and broke his collar-bone. A protest was entered against W. Good, the winner of the first heat, and it was upheld.
