AIR TRANSPORT.
Commercial Flying License is Granted. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, This Day. The first application for a commercial flying license under the Transport Licensing Commercial Aircraft Act of this year was granted by the Transport Co-ordination Board to-day to East Coast Airways, Ltd., for a service between Gisborne and Napier or Hastings, with de Havilland Dragon twoengined machines, capable of carrying ten passengers. An application for a similar license by Air Travel New Zealand, Ltd., on the West Coast is being heard.
