A- meeting was held in the Harewood School on Tuesday evening for the purpose of discussing the proposal made at the jubilee celebrations, that an old pupils’ association be form’ed. Only nine old pupils attended the meeting, and it was decided not to go any further with the project owing to the lack of enthusiasm. Another proposal, also made at the jubilee, was to erect a swimming bath for the school. It was decided to form a committee to collect funds for the bath. Another meeting will be held on Tuesday. February 12. to further the scheme. Mr A. E. Thornton presided over the meeting.
