SYDNEY, This Day In addition to the reward of £SOO ottered for the arrest and conviction of the murderer of the woman whose . harred body was found at Albury in a culvert, the Government has offered a urther reward of £2OO to anyone who can establish the woman's identity. Probably no greater campaign has ever been conducted by the police in Australia to establish a dead person's identity. Throughout the length and breadth nt the British Empire inquiries have l»een set afoot in an effort to identify the girl whose pyjama-clad body was found in a culvert at Albury in August. She had been killecl by savage blows upon her head and the body, bundled into a sack, had been dumped from a motor-car and set alight. Rain apparently extinguished the flames belore they consumed the petrol-soaked remains. New Zealand was combed tor clues to the identity of the girl, but every trail followed so far has failed to give the police the information they "eek.
