KINDERGARTEN MEETING.
The monthly meeting of the North f,in wood Free 'Kindergarten was held in the school hall recently. Mr E. Sorrell presided over the following members: Mesdames W. Retallick, V\ - Origg, J. Holloway. F. E. Smith, b. FI. Powell and Mr W. S. Griggr. A motion of svmpathy was passed with Mrs Taylor in her indisposition. Final arrangements were made for the comique carnival to be held on Thursday. November 15. A fancy dress party will he held early in December. The roll number was 68, the highest attendance was 56, the lowest attendance was 44. The average attendance was 52. A parents’ social will he held on "Wednesday afternoon, November 28. It was decided to have the furniture repainted before Christmas. Subscriptions amounting to £4 3s 7d were received.
