Bright Sunshine Favours the Trots. Ideal weather for a race meeting attracted a gay crowd of racegoers to Addington to-day for the second day of the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s i meeting. The view from the grandj stand out over the track and stir- | rounding country to the mountains, : still retaining vestiges of their winter j coat of snow, was simply magnificent. There were sixteen guests at the ; official table for luncheon, including ; Mrs J. H. Williams, wife of the presi- ! dent; Mrs C. M. Ollivier, wife of the vice-president; Mr and Mrs S. W. Mrs Williams wore a bright navy ; crepe de chine frock, coin-spotted in | "hite. with a small navy straw hat. I Mrs Ollivier’s ensemble was in a deeper i shade of navy and was relieved by a I single white organdie flower on the lapel of her coat. Her hat of matching straw was banded in white.
