VICEREGAL VISIT.

Ilis Excellency the Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe, who are the guests of Sir R. Heaton Rhodes during their stay in Christchurch, had no public engagements this morning. Ladv Bledisloe was entertained at a farewell function organised by the National Council of Women in the afternoon, while Lord Bledisloe paid an informal visit to the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show*. Tomorrow their Excellencies will be the guests of the committee of the A. and P. Association at lunch at the show, which will be formally opened bv Lord Bledisloe. Ilis Excellency will be the guest of the president and of the Christchurch Club at dinner in the evening.
