The rearrangement of the Federal Ministry shows that although New Zealand Ministers were concerned about the prolonged session delaying their proposed consultations with the Commonwealth over the reciprocal trade agreement, no time really has been lost, as Mr Stef art. the original Minister of Commerce and Industry who had conducted negotiations with Njw . Zealand, is not a member of the new* Cabinet. His place has been taken by Dr Page, leader of the Country Party, a change not to the advantage of New* Zealand producers, who desire the free admission of potatoes, onions, and similar products into Australia.
