Case of Injured Girl Cyclist. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 5. A claim for £3OOO damages was made i in the Supreme Court to-dav by Mar- ! jorie Shackle ton, a 22-year-old machinj ist, against David Robert John Ellis. 1 a labourer. Plaintiff was cycling on the •j Great North Road on February 17 e when she was knocked down by a car driven by Ellis. She alleges permanent 1 partial incapacitation as a result of her i injuries. The jury awarded £1750 general damages and £267 special damages
