SERIOUS MOTOR SMASH.
Car Plunged Through Bridge Railing. (Special to the “ Star.”) AUCKLAND. This Day. The condition of John Cogan, aged twenty years, of 46, Mosley Avenue. Devonport, one of the five men injured in a motor accident at Albany on Sunday morning, is not now considered to be serious. The condition of the others, Richard Powell, Noel Langton, James M’Gregor and Ross Jones, all residents of Devonport, is still serious. The car plunged through the railing of a bridge, Michael Stipich, aged nineteen years, of 14. Vauxhall Road, Devonport, being killed. An inquest concerning his death was opened yesterday and adjourned after evidence of identification.
