£25,000 DAMAGE BY FIRE.
Busy Sawmill Destroyed by Flames. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received November 5, 11.30 a.m.) BRISBANE. This Day. Damage estimated at £25,000 was caused by fire which destroyed Wilson, Hart and Company’s sawmill at Maryborough. The machinery was damaged beyond repair. This is a severe blow to the industry in Maryborough, as the mill was very active, employing two shifts daily.
