DANCE AT BURWOOD.

There was a record attendance at the flannel dance and euchre tournament held in the Burwood Hall on Saturday evening - by the Burwood Park Tennis Club. The committee responsible for the success of the evening comprised Misses J. Liggins, G. AVeatlierall, E. Higham, V. Reaby and N. Bucktin, Messrs T. E. Stevenson. T. Weatlierall, L. Weatlierall. A. Milligan, L. Goodman and T. Brown. Music for the dancing was supplied by the. Noveltv Four Orchestra and Air T. Stevenson was M. Novelty dances were won as follows: Lucky spot one-step, Air AT. Walker and Miss ,T. Syme; lucky spot valeta, Mr H. Reaby and Mrs At. Doyle; Alonte Carlo waltz. ATr J. Green and Mrs A. H. ATercer. Miss Heather Wriglit gave a novelty skipping rope dance and also a comedy dance. Extras were played by All* W. Saunders. The winners of the euchre prizes were Mrs .T. Liggins and Mr J. Higham.
