Mrs W. E. Best, Chapter Street, is staying at New Plymouth. Mrs W. Jacobson, Akaroa, is visiting Miss Jane Donnell y. Lower Riccarton. Mrs A. H. Tocker, Queen’s Avenue, is staying with relatives in Dunedin. Mrs A. C. Bretherton and Miss Helen Bretherton, Fendalton. will visit Dunedin during the week-end. Mrs Geoffrey Falck, Auckland, is the guest of her mother, Mrs M. J. Lynskey, Rossall Street. Mrs H. C. Harley, Tui Street, who has been staying at Ilanmer Springs, returned home yesterday. Mrs C. IT. Hewlett and Miss Alice Hewlett. Fendalton, are visiting Hailmer Springs. Miss Azalea Partridge, Wellington, will be the guest of her sister in Christchurch during the week-end. Miss Chrystobel Bowen, Jlolly Road, will leave Christchurch in January, en route to England.

Miss Cook, Warwick House, is visiting Sumner.

Miss W. A. Moore, Venard. Wai-iti Road, Timaru. is staying with her parents, Sir Joseph and Lady Kinsey, Papanui Road. Mr and Mrs John Hutton, the Terrace, Wellington, will arrive in Christchurch to-morrow morning for a short visit.

The Rev Thomas Tait and Miss Tait. Wellington, who are at present staying with Mrs Robert Malcolm, Park Terrace, will leave shortly .for Oamaru.

Mrs R. Newbold, Auckland, who has been spending a holiday with relatives and friends in Dunedin and Christchurch, left by Tuesday’s inter-island steamer on her return home.

Mrs Charles Morice, Wellington, is the guest of her sister, Mrs W. S. Bean, Beverley Street, St Albans, following a visit to Timaru and the West Coast. She will return to Wellington tomorrow.
