DOUBLE PROGRAMME.
“The Constant Nymph” and “ Prosperity.” The lovable and irresponsible Sanger family are brought to the screen just as one would imagine them to be in real life in the film adaptation of Margaret Kennedy’s famous novel, “ The Constant Nymph,” which is . showing at the Crystal Palace Theatre this week. To make the entertainment doubly pleasing, on the same programme is “Prosperity,” starring Marie Dressier and Polly Moran. “The Constant Nymph.” a Gaumont-British production, is another triumph for the English film industry. With good material to work on, the producers have turned out a film that should live in the memory of all those who see it. Nothing but praise can be given to the cast in this production. Brian Aherije. as Lewis Dodd, the eccentric young composer; Victoria Hopper as Tessa, whose tragic love story is revealed; and Jane Baxter. Jane Cornell and Beryl Laverick, as the Sanger children, all are excellent.
