Vessel Jettisons £4OOO of Coal Cargo. United Press Assn,—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received September 24, 12.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, September 24. After 3000 tons of coal had been jettisoned the Milora was pulled off the rocks yesterday by three tugs and is now being towed to Melbourne. Her hull is badly damaged and she is making considerable water. Her crew are working incessantly at the pumps. It is estimated that the salvage efforts will cost £2OOO and the jettisoned coal is valued at £4OOO. The Milora struck on a reef on Friday, owing to losing her rudder.
