Goodfellow, managing director of Amalgamated Dairies, stated that the constitution of the existing Dairy Hoard admittedly was unsatisfactory, but it should be pointed out that the failure of the Dairy Board to function satisfactorily was not the fault of the dairy industry but of Parliament. If ihc industry had been given the legislation asked for in the first instance the result would have been the establishment of a board organised for service, he said.
