A Shorthorn bull, Princetown Lomond, arrived at Wellington on Friday, consigned to Mr J. C. Chamberlain, of Ellesmere. It is from the Prince of Wales s ranch in Canada, and is said to be a very fine specimen of the Shorthorn breed. The new arrival was regarded in Canada as the best yearling in that Dominion. Mr Chamberlain has obtained, at a price which borders on four figures, a bull of pure British blood, and. coming from Canada, it has not been necessary to comply with the English quarantine regulations.
