RICCARTON DEPOT.

The secretary of the Riccarton Borough Relief Committee reports that sixty-three families were supplied with rations at the depot last Friday. This represents an increase of four on the number of families assisted during the previous week and includes six new cases. The pound scheme collection was again satisfactory, although there was a slight falling-off in the amount of butter received. Residents are asked to concentrate on gifts of tea. butter, sugar and jam during this week. The secretary advises the receipt of a parcel of groceries from the Home Economics Association. There is still a heavy demand for clothing and Mrs F. A. White would welcome donations.
