KINDERGARTEN FUNDS.
Dance Held at North Linwood.
An enjoyable dance was held in £?t Chad’s new hall recently to aid the funds of the North Linwood Free Kindergarten. The following committee was responsible for the success of the evening:—Mesdames T. Taylor. N. Retallick, C. J. Holloway, C. Smith, W. S. Grigg and L. H. Powell, Messrs E. Lovell and* W. S. Grigg. The Lyric Band supplied the music, and Mr Grigg was M.C. A Monte Carlo fiance was won by Miss Cooper and Mr Scott, and a statue dance was won by Miss Cosgrove and Mr Carlton. The lucky number competition was won by Mr Carlton. Extras were played by Mrs Smith. Among those present were:—Mr and Mrs J. Carter, Mr and Mrs L. V. Gra—ham, Mr and Mrs E.
