PARTY AT CASHMERE.

Bridge Evening Held for Plunket Funds. A successful bridge party in aid of the Plunket Society was held by the Sydenham - Cashmere - Spreydon SubBranch at Cashmere Hills on Saturday. Mrs Daniel Reese, a member of the committee kindly lent her home for the occasion. The three rooms used by the players were decorated with bowls of marigolds and iceland poppies. Mrs Reese, who received the guests wore a plainly cut frock of brown lace. The members of the committee, who were responsible for the management of the party and for providing the supper were; Mesdames P. G. Greenwood, Malcolm Gra-y, Charles Ogilvie, A. W. Hale, P. Delargey, J. I. Smail,_ J. Poulsen, J. A. Blackmore, Lindsay Ower, J. K. Archer, J. S. Inwood, A. J. Derbridge, R. W. Anderson and C. Thornton.
