SHOTGUN PART FOUND.
Has No Connection With Recent Murder.
Part of a shotgun, containing an empty cartridge shell, was found on a rubbish dump by a relief worker at Hornby last week. The find was investigated by the police, who are satisfied that it has no connection with the Riccarton murder. They state that there is no reason for any such suggestion.
