(Special to the “ Star.”) GREYMOUTH. July 21. Jn the only Rugby match played today, Blaketown defeated the competition winners. United, by 6 points to 3. after a hard, wet-wcather game. The ground was in a bad state and the weather was bad. Play for the most part was confined to the forwards. Blaketown forwards forced the pace in the first half and led 6-nil. Pascoe and M Neigh t scored tries. Tri the second spell United tried hard to make up the deficit, but could only score three points, these coming from a penalty kick taken from well out by Gilbert. This is United’s first defeat this season, although they previously drew with Blaketown.
