Bank Note Forgeries.

Dear Sir,—lf I were a bank-note forger. I would have obtained one of the new Reserve Bank notes and copied it, for I am sure that when these notes are released in a flood on August 1 they will be so novel that few would be able to detect a forgery. I suggest that the bank should take an opportunity in the next fortnight of putting samples of the notes on view at various shop windows in the heart of the city, so that the people can identify them when they come into use. It is better to be safe than sorrv.—l am, etc., A SMALL SHOPKEEPER.
