Lincoln-Tai Tapu SubBranch Meets.
A committee meeting of the LincolnTai Tapu Sub-branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Presbyterian Schoolroom, the following being present: Alesdames E. J. Cooke (in the chair)/ AVeston, Stoddart, Alacartney, Alorten, Mackenzie, -Simpson, Foster, Al’Bean, Misses AVelsh and Haughton. A motion of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Mrs Button and the late Air L. Greaves in their recent sad bereavements. It was that a successful dance organised by Airs Alackenzie was held in Tai Tapu on July 7. It was decided to give part of the proceeds to the Karltane guinea appeal, the remainder to help the branch to carry on during the year. Votes of thnnks were passed to all who had helped to make the dance such a success. , Arrangements were made for helping the central branch on Plunket Day. Nurse Horne’s report read: Lincoln, !) adults, 5 babies, 5 pre-school children, 10 home visits; Tai Tapu, 1 adult, 1 baby, G home visits.
