SCHOOL ATHLETES.
N.Z. Team Selected to Visit Melbourne.

The representatives of the Secondary School Amateur Athletic Associations of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin met to-day to make all necessary arrangements and select a team of secondary school athletes to represent New Zealand at the Intra-Empire Public School Sports at Melbourne on November 16 and 17. The team is: G. I. Vickerstaff (Napier Boys’ High), F. E. Watt (Auckland Grammar), A. J. Sayers (Auckland Grammar), E. D. Clarke (Mt Albert Grammer), E. Wordsworth (Sacred Heart College, Auckland), H. Steele (Rotorua High), P. G. M’Lauchtan (Southland Boys’ High), W. E. Coxhead (Mt Albert Grammar) and D. F. Wilson (Waitaki). The party leaves about the end of October, or early in November.
