“ Six of a Kind ” and “ Ace of Aces.”

“ The Tenderfoot ” and “ Hold That Girl!” will be shown finally to-night at the Liberty Theatre. A comedy, “ Six of a Kind,” and an aerial drama, “ Ace of Aces,” will comprise the first-class double bill at the Liberty Theatre to-morrow. Charles Ruggles, Mary Boland, W. C. Fields and Alison Skipworth are featured in the hilarious comedy, “ Six of a Kind.” Ruggles and Mary Boland are cast as a married ccuple about to go on their holiday. A journey by car from New York to Hollywood is planned. They advertise for someone to share expenses, and George Burns, Gracie Allen and a Great Dane accompany them on the trip. W. C. Fields and Alison Skipworth also join the party, and the fun is on. The discovery of 50,000 dollars in the suitcase of the innocent Ruggles does little to interrupt the flow of comedy, giving Fields, as the Californian sheriff, the opportunity to put the finishing touches to a film executed in the burlesque. A great war ace who laughed at death but feared to live is the colourful and dramatic character portraved by Richard Dix in “ Ace of Aces.” The story is a thrilling account, tinged with tragedy, of the spectacular career of Lieutenant Rex Thorne, who becomes known as the “ Ace of Aces ” after his astonishing 42 victories in the air over enemy flyers.
