BIG CROWD PRESENT.
Duckworth, Turner’s Staff
Dance. Seldom has the Frascati ballroom been so crowded as last evening, when the staff of Duckworth, Turner and Co., Ltd., held their second annual dance. Punctually at eight o’clock the guests began to arrive and others arrived in a constant stream until after nine o’clock. The committee who organised this highly successful dance consisted of Mrs I. Scroby, who wore a dull gold satin frock and capelet trimmed with pleated frills, Messrs F. Walsh and Jack Hay. Mrs H. B. Duckworth was a guest of honour, her husband being unable tc attend, as he is at present visiting Australia. She was dressed In a grateful navy blue lace frock with a touch of silver lame at the neck, the lame being repeated on the sleeves, which were slashed from shoulder to wrist.
