Three-Rink Inter-Club Championships.
Two games were played last evening at the Olympia Indoor Bowling Rink. In the three-rink inter-club championship for the Carl Madsen Shield, results were:— Imperial beat Barrington by 67 points to 54. Imperial skips first:—Wornall 24, Sandford 17; Draper 24, Cooke 15; C. M. Clark 19, A. Clark 22. R.S.A. v. United was won by United by 65 points to 58. R.S.A. skip’s first:— Graham 16, W. Brown 20; Chapman IS, Rogers 17; Young 24, Smith 2S. A two-rink match between the National Bank of New Zealand and the New Zealand Refrigerating Company was won by the National Bank by 36 points to 32. Refrigerating Company skips first:—Taylor, Hooper, Crawford, Hill (s.) 20, Mitchell, Hopgood, Barriball, Fowler (s.) 16: Spooner, Hamilton. Read, Grange (s.) 12, Richardson. Gardner, Pope, Stott (s.) 20. Sydenham Club. V„ Beckenham, on Monday, at 7 p.m.— Hopkirk, Bishop, M’Keon, Madsen: Veiteh, J. White, Armstrong, Coombes; Wormald, Shirlaw, Harris, Bott.
