That experimental exports of tomatoes from Canterbury to England would be facilitated by the Fruit Export Control Board was stated by the chairman of the board (Mr H. E. Stephens) at the conference of Canterbury fruitgrowers yesterday afternoon. He said that a report on an export consignment last year had been sent to the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research at Wellington, and it would be available to any grower wishing to make a trial export.
