EQUALITY OF TREATMENT.
WASHINGTON, July 16. In a strongly-worded communication the State Department has demanded that the Hitler Government shall grant to American holders of German bonds absolutely the same consideration as that granted to British holders.
The Note declared that the German Government was under an unescapable responsibility* to grant equal treatment.
