ST MARTINS LIBRARY.
The monthly meeting of the committee of the St Martins Public Library was held on Wednesday last. Mr .J. E. Jones presiding. During the month eight new subscribers were enrolled, and -12 renewed their subscriptions. The following books were placed i on the shelves: Fiction 61. non- I Uetion 13. juvenile 7, replacements 2. ! Fifty-two books were repaired. The • credit balance amounted to £34 7s 7d. The return from the 500 evening was 10s 6d. The invitation from the Sprev- * don Public Library to its fifth annual meeting on July 10 was accepted. The i sum of £3O was allocated for the pur- I chase of books for the month. Owing | Ito the difficulty of replacing several I books, it was decided to pet some of 1 the most popular ones rebound.
