NAZI ATTACK ON JEWS.

Wearing of War Medals “ Offensive.” BERLIN. June 16 The Nazi newsaper “ Angriff,” which recently invited readers to “ keep their eyes on the Tews and report cases of impudence,” has now assembled sufficient material to broadcast the Jews’ transgressions against Aryan susceptibilities. The offences do not appear heinous, but the editor states that it may be difficult for a foreigner to feel them as a German does. “ Nevertheless,” he adds, “ the Jews know what we mean.” He quotes instances of so-called Jewish bad taste, including the wearing of war medals and wound stripes, and the showing of war service testimonials. The editor admits that Germany is glorifying former service men. and adds that while there are brave Jewish soldiers, nothing at present is being said about the Jew profiteers. “ Cannot Enjoy Scenery.” The editor further complains of the Jews attending week-end favourite resorts, where a few months ago they were afraid to “ show their faces.” He adds that although guest houses put up Swastikas to show the Jews that they are not wanted, the proprietors do not seem to refuse Jews’ money. The editor complains that Jews cannot even enjoy the scenery like Aryans. lie recounts an incident of Jews playing cards near a lake when a brilliant rainbow appeared. The Jews did not look at the rainbow, but continued loud gabbling, and acted as if the card game was the centre of the universe. This contrasted with the quiet contemplation of neighbouring Germans. He also complains of the Jews’ socalled misbehaviour in the Opera House in loudly applauding and cheering a Jewish artist, while ignoring other artists. ANTI-CATHOLIC OUTBURST. MUNICH, June 20. A band of Nazis raided a Munich cinema during the screening of a Roman Catholic film, depicting the Iloly Year celebrations at the Vatican, and slashed posters. The audience was panic stricken, and only the timely arrived of the police averted serious disturbances. The authorities, who previously sanctioned the film, have now banned it, alleging that it is likely to endanger public peace.
