Ltd. v. C. T. Miles. £2 2s 6d. Judgment Summons. Stanley Grainger was ordered to pay T. M. Beadle £5 15s Id forthwith, in default seven days’ imprisonment. Judgment for £2O. . J. G. Manhire. a painter, of Kilmore Street (Mr Goodman) was awarded £2O in a case in which he proceeded against J. L. Pugh, a builder, of Linwood (Dr Haslam) for the sum of £4l 19s 6d, alleged to be the balance due on the contract price and extras in a painting job in Beverley Street. Pugh counterclaimed £l9 19s as damages alleged to have been suffered from Manhire’s negligent and inadequate performance of his contract, necessitating the employment of another man.
