HARRIERS.
Inter-club Run Field on Saturday. The inter-club contest between teams from the University Club and the Alethodist Club resulted in a win tot University by 12 points to 24. The trail was laid from the Canterbury Rowing Club’s sheds, Fitzgerald Avenue up Hill’s Road to the corner of Khfriey Road, continuing due north, then branching off to the west behind St Bede’s College, circling back and traversing the Mairehau and AFzfrshland districts tfOwn to the corner of Shirley Road, round Banks Avenue to the Ayon, with a run in along the banks of the Avon to the starting point. The distance covered was about seven miles The traillayers were G. K. Armstrong and P. D. Hew land. Individual placings were:—U. D. Fox (Vars.) 1. A. P. Thomson (Vars.) 2. E. D. Smith (Vars.) 3, C. S. Ell (Meth.) 4, N. P. Alcorn (Ateth.) 5, W. W. O. Hursthouse (Vars.) 6, C. N. Thornton (Afeth.) 7, W. N. Purchase (AJetlD. 8. G. R. Clothier (Meth.) 9, A. T. Shannon (Vars.) 10, W. E.
