MEASLES IN SCHOOLS.

All schools in the city area which found it necessary to close for varying periods owing to the prevalence of measles among pupils, are now open again. A number of country schools, however, are still affected by the epidemic. According to advice received by the Canterbury Education Board the following schools are at present closed: Kaikoura, Selwyn, Killinchy. Weedons, Ruapuna, Hawarden, Kakahu Bush, Willowby infants’ departments, and Aratika.
