CLOTHING DRIVE IN CITY.
The Postmen’s clothing drive on Saturday had a gratifying response. Another drive which has already aroused much interest among the ladies of the city has been organised by Hay’s Ltd., Drapers, Gloucester Street. Due to the present cold weather, many women are now realising the urgent need of warm Coats. Hay’s have offered to cut out Free, to individual measurements, ladies’ Coats from material over 9/6 a yard. In addition the garment can be tacked and fitted for only 2/6. In line with these two generous offers is a third—to charge only 25/for making a lady’s Tailored Coat. Shoppers IVill find Hay’s a particularly busy place these days. The second week of their 14 davs Special Mid Season Sale is attracting many keen bargain seekers.
