PIGEON BAY W.D.F.U.
At the June meeting of the Pigeon Bay Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union Air J. Gibson gave an interesting lecture on “Rose Growing and Pruning,” and demonstrated on the roses in the school gardens. It was decided to raise funds by holding several euchre ournaments throughout the winter months. A number of flannel and knitted garments were sent to Nurse Maude. At the July meeting there will be a demonstration on cane basket and tray making by Aliss Washington.
