ATTACK ON HOLLYWOOD
(Received June 11, 2 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 10. Representative Cannon, of Wisconsin, will present a resolution prohibiting the inter-State transportation of motion picture films, in which the characters “ display moral turpitude.” He claimed that 9 per cent of the productions were unfit for children.
“ The whole atmosphere of Hollyv ood is seeped in immorality,” he declared. “ Parents blush with shame whenever they attend a cinema accompanied by their children.”
