Devonport Ferry Service Shows Profit. (Special to the ** Star.”) AUCKLAND. June 10. The Devonport Steam Ferry Company's net profit for the year ended April 30 was £7673, against. £7581 last year. With £399 brought in. there is available £8072. An interim dividend of 2h per cent absorbed £3750. leaving £4322. and the directors recommend a final dividend of 2J per cent, making 5 per cent for thfe year, an unchanged rate, and leaving £572 to be carried forward. The dividend will be paid on June 21. Peters Ice Cream. A net profit of £541, against £Bl3 in tlie J previous year, is disedosed in the third annual accounts of Peters Ice Cream Company. Ltd. With £6OO brought in, there is £ll4l at the credit of profit and loss account, and it is proposed to carry this amount forward and consolidate the company’s position. No dividend is recommended.
Paid capital stands at £10,475, against £B9 87 a year ago. A dividend of 5 per cent was paid in 1933.
